IN OUR DOJO! Shinkageryu Hyoho - one of the oldest Schools of Classical Japanese Swordmanship! It was founded in the mid sixteenth century and its authentic forms have been continually passed along into our modern times through 23 Grand Masters. Practice is conducted in a very safe manner with a Fukuro Shinai (a soft practice stick that mimics a sword). The Japan certified instructor will guide students from very basic to advanced movements based on Kata (sequence of movements). The art of swordsmanship can be practiced without any prior martial arts experience, regardless of age.
